The many shades of purple.

I was all set to be boring and comfortable today– well, semi-boring. Jeans, plaid shirt, cowgirl-esque feel– and I had taken some terrible pictures of my outfit when I went over to Sarah’s blog… and was immediately inspired by her outfit. Since she looks so fabulous, I had to make an effort.

Details: Dress($2), cardigan ($4), and belt ($0.99), thrifted; Shoes (unknown) ring($8), and tights($5), Target; Bracelet, gift.

And now the only “I don’t care” about my outfit is the fact that my tights have a run in them. In plain sight. And I’m going to pretend it’s not there.

I think this is my new favorite place to take pictures. Our garage door is a perfect background, and if I get tired of the plainness, I can pose with my brother’s vintage bug. (It’s adorable.)

So I told you about buying a few things at a garage sale, and I keep forgetting to upload the pictures. But I have to get a few things done, so uhm… yes. I will try to do the post later today, yes?

      Me too. I’ve decided that purple is one of my favorite colors to wear. And my brother’s bug… I want my bedroom walls to be that color!

    *_* Your brother’s car!!!! Omgosh it’s so gorgeous!!! I wish I had one like that! Vintage-ness to all its glory, love it! :D
    And I also love your outfit, the color is perfect! I’m usually not the one to wear purple, because I think it looks awful with my yellow skin (talk about lack of iron!), BUT I really like seeing it on you, it’s just amazing! The tights, the shoes, the cardigan, every single piece is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamaaaaaazing!!! (too many ‘a’s? NO, NEVER! :P ) I love everything! Come on, it’s so unfair. In the end of the week, I won’t know which one to vote for. But this outfit really fascinates me! hahah! :D
